On average, the price of Single Family Homes in Mount Pearl increased 10.9 % in the first quarter of 2010 compared to the first quarter of 2009. This is significantly less than the regional* average of 13.4% for single family homes during the same periods.

Also worth noting:

• In 2010, on average homes sold for 100% of the list price as compared to 2009 when on average homes sold for 98% of their list price.
   
• Homes in Mount Pearl also sold much more quickly in 2010, on average a home took 30 days to sell in 2010 compared to 48 days in 2009.
   
• The number of sales were slightly down with 35 being sold in 2010 vs 37 in 2009.
