Located in the East End of St. John’s, King William Estates is an affluent, family- orientated neighbourhood. It is strictly residential and is characterized by stately homes, manicured lawns and plenty of greenery. Some homes border the shore of Virginia Lake.

In this neighbourhood house prices range from $400,000 - $1 Million plus. The statistics available from the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Realtors (NLAR) show that in 2009 six houses sold with the average price being $564,500.

Since January 2007 twenty-three homes sold in this neighbourhood. Because several high priced listings skew the data, comparing average prices from year to year is somewhat misleading. The median price however does offer some insight into market prices for this area. In 2009 the median price point was between $550,000 – $560,000, in 2008 it was between $570,000 – $590,000 and in 2007 it was $506,930.

King William Estates is bordered by two neighbourhoods; Woodlands and East Point Landing. Construction just started on a new subdivision Virginia Village, which will border Stonebridge Place. The Stavanger Drive shopping centre, the airport and the highway are all just minutes away.

King William Estates is zoned for the following schools, all of which offer a French Immersion program and are wheel chair accessible.

Mary Queen of Peace (K - 6)

St. Paul's Junior High (7 - 9)

Holy Heart of Mary (10 - 12)
